I'm curious to know what list other players would consider the most annoying to face? Last night, I had the misfortune of playing against the following:
Dutch Vander (R2 Astromech, Ion Cannon Turret)
Blue Squadron Pilot (Ion Cannon, Tactician)
Blue Squadron Pilot (Ion Cannon, Tactician)
Bandit Squadron Pilot (Ion Pulse Missiles)
Very annoying.
my buddy would say "Any list with your decimator."
I hate facing 5 Tie Bombers. Usually with bombs or some munitions. **** 30 hitpoints to chew through. Sometimes they just won't die!

To put it bluntly, any list that has Whisper in it. My friend uses him only against me when we play on Thursdays and it's gotten to where when he uses him, I already know I'm not going to win.

Well, I've been thinking of a list and here is what I've come up with so far;
Kath Scarlet (38)
Marksmanship (3)
Gunner (5)
Commander Kinkirk (44)
Ysanne Isard (4)
Mara Jade (3)
total: 97 points
A friend used the kath build listed above and totally thrashed me and I was told over and over that stress has the ability to stop Whisper. Any thoughts on this fleet would be appreciated

That leaves 3 points. I would put Predator on Kenkirk, but there are so many options. Recon (3), Counter-measure (3), Tactical Jamer (1) + Determination (1)...just to name a few. Tactical Jammer fits on both ships depending on how you want to fly.

That's very close to my favorite list to fly, right there. The Bomber Swarm!
Any control list can be annoying to play against because control does exactly what the name states. It take control away from your opponent and put it in your hands.

If your problem is Whisper, then take Boba + VI + EU + Tactician and Decimator + Rebel captive + Vader. Your friend has no chance.

As fun as the others are I have a feeling that I will end up defaulting to the Deci-vader-mator. 43 pts of super shuttly action but with a better dial.

The rest of the points doesn't matter in case of Whisper, so take what you prefer. I like this one:
Boba Fett + Ion Cannon + Veteran Instincts + Tactician + Engine Upgrade (49)
Captain Oicunn + Predator + Darth Vader + Rebel Captive (51)
ps. EU on Patrol Leader is not so useful, I think.
Not sure if its annoying but ive been flying this list purely because of the lolworthy hit points and the way the Deci can deal with Phantoms, given they wont want to shoot at the Deci and lose their ACD
Patrol Leader + Vader + Gunner + Rebel Captive + Proxy Mines
2 x Shuttles + FCS
36 hitpoints!
Challenge to fly but if you get shots the action economy of the Shuttles starts to tell, also Vader/Gunner is the bane of high agi / low hull ships. God help you if you dont have shields!
I know i could take Oicunn instead of the Proxy Mines but ive actually had a bit of joy with the mines, managed a nice drop when i had a Falcon chasing it with the Falcon trapped in a corner with a right turn that had the Proxy sitting there and a rock beside it, delicious
