Buying a Christmas present for someone who has EVERYTHING (Talisman)

By jackyboy, in Talisman

Hi guys

I have to buy my flat mate a Christmas present and Ideally I would like to buy something to do with Talisman. He has every expansion available (when does the Deep Realm come out! PLEASE be before Christmas!!!!) So I am a bit stumped as to what I can get him.

Does anyone have any ideas as to some nice titbits I could get him that he could use with Talisman? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Many Thanks

Jack

How about a Steam gift voucher so he can buy the digital edition?

Thank you Artaterxes for your suggestion...BUT....he already has it!!! He is becoming a right difficult person to buy for!!! At this rate I may have to get him a new boardgame although, and I'm not too sure how either of us will feel about this LOL

thanks again though buddy

You're welcome... You could try Relic, based off Talisman

Relic is pretty good.

Could buy him a rack for his cards too. Or a dice tower. Sleeves...

Give a child or suitable person the basic game (if not too expensive) in your friend's name as a Christmas Present. Make sure he knows that you have done this - photos, etc. I think he would be very pleased and impressed.

other idea: again, don't know how appropriate, make a donation in His name to Talisman island or similar fan site?

Tattoo gift certificate?

you could always buy him an older edition of Talisman and start him on collector route.

Print up some Homebrew expansions, I particularly like Homebrew alternate endings.

Well I finally managed to get him something! :)

I would have bought him some other edition of Talisman, but he has 2nd and all expansions but dragons (which we have on homebrew) and the 3rd edition which he isn't keen on. He also recently bought Eldrich and Arkom horror games and ALL expansions! (he has a serious problem!) lol

So I finally got him a game from Wayland Games (its only 10mins from where I live) It is pretty new I think. It is called Betrayal at House on the Hill. It looks like a pretty good game, although it may be some time before we finally get through all the other games we have and have yet to play!

I am also going to be printing some homebrew characters for him for christmas. I will naturally make myself a copy too ;)

Its a fun game, not new, but a recent reprint.
