I have bought a considerable amount of Expansions now (including Tantive IV) but I feel I need the medium ships like Slave to balance the matches. I e-mailed FFG and they gave very unspecific answers. Do any of you guys think the only way to get hold of Slave and Falcon is to pay up the ridiculous amount of money they want for those ships on Amazon or do you think one should wait a couple of months?

Look around in different stores.

Organize a group to buy stock and ship it internationally.

Don't pay through the nose for what ultimately is a piece of plastic and cardboard for you to play with.

If you live in the States, check Barnes and Noble. They seem to always have good stock.

Though I doubt you'll find a Falcon anywhere, check out a Barnes & Noble, they don't sell out of things as quickly

if you look around you'll find most things in stock somewhere.

Try out of the way bricks and mortar gaming stores. in the uk book chains like 'waterstones' sell the core game and when i asked them if they had any ships (not on the shelves) they said they had loads in the cellar they just hadnt restocked.

so its always worth asking even if it looks like they are out of stock.

Personally I buy two of every small ship and one of every medium/large and huge when they come out, if i dont like them its easy enough to swap them later.
