If I decrease the hull it strays into the Nebulon B's turf. 500 meters and up should have 6 hull.

4 shields is a lot man. I dunno if I feel comfertable increasing it anymore. There are actions to halve incoming damage and it has 4 for engineering. That should allow it to tank against one for a little while. Besides, the victory should still kick its teeth in if the MC40 wans to fight a ship twice its size and over 10 times the mass. Now, the dreadnought would be the ultimate tank ship, and in wookieepedia it is said that it can fight the victory to a draw. So that means lasting against 9 dice comming at you. A half damage action reduces that to 5, and it can probably repair 4, so if the victory misses with one die, its a stalemate. I'm probably mission g some interactions here though.

I am seeing an issue develop here... FFG has keep the point values so low on these ships that there is no room for variation. I hope that does not become an issue when new ships are released.

When I say point value I mean shield points and hull points... There is very little variation between smaller ships and ships many times their mass... There doesn't seem to be much room for new ships that fall somewhere in between.

yeah. They kept it simple, but at a cost. I'm guessing its exponential values though, due to active repair. 8 hull will love a lot longer than 6 hulled ships will.
