Hi guise!
So I'm playing an astropath and i'm wondering if there is any way to increase my willpower in any way (other than straight up upgrading the stat). Best would be if there would be a way to get unnatural willpower.
And if there are any splashbooks i should get with psyker augments that would help. Basically any way to become a better psyker.
If it helps im going for telekinesis and soul ward/biomancy.

Edited by TarquisYou get Unnatural Willpower by finding a depraved Magos Biologis, and getting them to perform a Transgenic Grafting on you from a Xenos that has Unnatural Willpower. Otherwise no, not even FFG would be crazy enough to allow a PC Psyker a way to get Unnatural Willpower.
A few ways to increase your Willpower/Psy Rating
Important note: Being a better Psyker in this setting means not using Psychic Powers. They're great and wonderful until you decide to get fancy in a boss fight and infect everyone with daemons leading your GM to burst out into a fit of laughter and then narrate what happens a few hours later when you wake up.

The problem with my astropath is that he suffers from a minor case of severe hubris and therefore uses abilities whenever he can just to show that he is not a "filthy blank".
Luckily i got myself warp affinity so at least a can reroll phenomena.
The problem with hubris is it knows not math. Figure out the chances of a demon eating the character. It's slim, right? Maybe 1 in 10,000? Ask yourself how many times a day the character uses psy powers. 10? That seems pretty hubristic. That means the character will get eaten by a demon is less than 4 years.
You could also, you know, talk to the big man who knows psykers and their powers. Maybe get some training, some tips, maybe even a boost in power. All you really need is to inscribe this nine-pointed star on the floor, say a few words and keep some appropriate accessories for when the time has come.
Price? Oh, come now, there's no price. There is but the joy of seeing talents... bloom.
