Edited by DodtI vote for something.....anything?
Please
I voted Vigil, but second would be Gozanti!
Well you only get to pick one
If your votes for something else post the ship.
How many times do I have to say it?

How many times do my Star Brothers have to say it?

I voted!
I would've also suggested the Carrack-class cruiser, but it's significantly larger than either the Lancer or the Vigil. Still, a cool old ship. I would love to see dreadnaughts, too, but that's probably a pipe dream.
Rebels have enough huge ships the Imperial needs a Capital ships and there is only 1 ship worth the title of Imperial Capital Ship.
Imperial Class Star Destroyer.

this is what Armada is for..
personally I don't care if they ever do an imp huge.. I won't be using it anyway.. it's been so long the little interest I had.. is gone..
I was trying to keep things sane with a rough 250m cut-off point.
In the most recent interview for the S&V podcast, they said point blank that 250m is the largest they'll use for Epic ships.

Until they include the **** Tie Advanced fix in it.
Wow the Gozanti is really behind I thought it would have been the front runner.
Lancer. Yes, I realize what it looks like, but it's the one that was specifically designed to take down starfighters. Seeing as this is a starfighter combat game.....
I gotta feeling the fact that its a dog-fighting game would lead to any ship with an anti-starfighter role to be more points expensive and less effective then what one would expect otherwise. Just like how ordinance is often considered a less efficient use of points.
Maybe FFG would make the Lancer look a little less like a hot-dog? Perhaps have it escorted by a pair of micro death-star droids that follow in close formation at the ships aft?
Gozanti
When i put a squash court on the back of my house as a wargames room i might have room for an interdictor, if i ever have a wargames stadium ill look into a star destroyer....
Given the Gozantis prevalance in 'rebels' i'd be utterly amazed if it wasnt the imperial huge ship
its clearly been adopted as a GCW era 'canon' ship that is the imperial equiv of a corellian corvette (at least in terms of widespread use)
Edited by GadgeGozanti - it can be done the same scale as the fighters, plus come with a TIE fighter.
There are two huges, so I'd have a Large Huge Ship and a Small Huge Ship vote.
Gozanti - it can be done the same scale as the fighters, plus come with a TIE fighter.
Yup and if they made it with nubs on to 'dock' the other three or so you own that would be genius. Put in a rule that the carried ties are immune to hits while the gozantis shields are up so you fly in close with shielded ties, detach and dogfight!
(which is when you obviously put them on their own flight stands within range 2 of the ship.)
That would be how i would do it anyway.
IPV-1 (Imperial Patrol Vessel; teardrop-shaped. Good looking, lots of turrets).
I could get behind the Gozanti and the IPV-1 as the imperial epics.
Gozanti - it can be done the same scale as the fighters, plus come with a TIE fighter.
Make that TWO Tie fighters and with a core set, a person would have a full complement!
One would make more business sense
It would be like the way you tend to buy a pair of core sets, xwing expansion and rebel transport to get the four xwings you can use max in a 100 point game.
If they sold one with a Gozanti then you'd have two from the core, one on the huge ship and it would encourage you to buy a tie fighter expansion to make up four.
Voted Nebulon-B2, with the original 1994 "only two shades of grey" texturing please

The motion is secondeded - Does the motion carry`?
Voted Nebulon-B2, with the original 1994 "only two shades of grey" texturing please
Do you think the B2 would be chosen before the original B? Both to me are fascinating ships.
My only concern with the original B would be that I think that most casual players associate the frigate with the rebellion because of the end of ESB where they are on board the stolen medical Nebulon renamed Redemption by the rebels. Still, an awesome ship and I think that given to form, FFG would make an amazingly high-quality model.
So maybe the B for the rebellion and the B2 for the empire sometime down the road? FFG, you listening?
