just setting up this 3 player mission ("New Mission")- I see from the FAQ and errata that the stream is "Deep".

This means that the American Tanks are not allowed to enter any Stream Hex, and due to the rule that says Tanks cannot enter a hex containing a building, then it seems that the Tankers are going to just stay South of the stream. There is a single Wood Hex at the end of the stream which is the ONLY route available for the tanks to head North of the Stream.

So I'm wondering if the errata should have said "Shallow".

Anyway, gonna play it as written (with "Deep" Errata). And see how it goes.

Played the scenario as I said - with the Deep stream.

Americans won in the last turn - Both Objectives were German right up until the last turn.

US Infantry Occupied the Bridge Hex, and Tankers came through the wood to occupy the Northern Objective.

Only 4 German Squads left at the end - against 4 US Squads and 7 Tanks (3 Heavy Damage 3 Light Damage 1 Undamaged)

So seemed reasonably balanced after 1 play.
