Best pages for upgrade cards?

By RockSoldier, in X-Wing

I am storing all my cards in pages/album. Right now I have the upgrade cards in the standard 9-pocket pages, but there is a lot of wasted space. I know Ultra Pro makes 15-pocket pages, but the pockets are listed as 1 1/2 x 3 5/8, which is tall enough but just a tad to narrow.

Is there any other pages out there that are better for the upgrade cards or are the regular 9-pocket the best option?

Thanks for any info.

Ultra Pro also makes a 12 pocket page which, while designed for stickers, works for upgrade cards. Even with sleeves, the height is right and while a little wide, they make multiple upgrades per pocket manageable. I brought them in to my store, so I would ask my FLG to stock them for you if they don't already. On a side note, they are top loaders so don't turn your binder upside down if you use them.

great, thanks.

I've been using a 6 card ultra pro side loading binder for my upgrade cards. Two sleeved cards fit in each pocket, and being side loading, you can easily access either card. If you truly wanted to go the extra mile, you could put a small stitch in the middle of the pocket to make it two separate ones, perfectly sized for the upgrade cards.

I use Ultra Pro 9 pocket side loading, I slide 2 upgrade cards into a normal sized players choice sleeve then into the page, it provides a very nice backdrop, I never have to worry about them getting lost and they never slide under one another and the sleeve makes a tight fit so never slides out of pocket will post pics later.

my long history of collecting baseball cards has build up a hatred of side loading sleeves lol

I didn't even know they still made them

I was able to get 25 of the 12-pocket sheets for $8 on Ebay.

Pictures of cats in them? Just curious how the fit.
