Do you accept people who have never played before but are interested in getting into the game?

We do! Usually one of the reegular players is available for a quick demo.

How late do most folks stick around? Some weeks I might be able to get there by 6, but most it'll be 8 at the earliest.

Is this still going on?

Yes, we meet every Thursday night starting around 6pm until closing at 10pm. You can expect 6-10 people to show on these nights. We're a casual bunch with different skill levels who welcome new players. The earlier you show the more likely you'll squeeze in a game or two.
