Their probably just doing two runs of the wave five ships so they can meet demand.

My lgs has tons of them. I think they thought they would sell like the other waves. Problem is you don't need three to five of them like the other ships.

I'm sure they accounted for this at least partly. They probably had projections likely modeled after the Falcon/Slave 1 release updated to account for increased variables like demand.
