so im going to be in a game where the other player will be using phat han n x wing,

the list im going for has:

soontir fell

PTL

hull upgrade

shadow squad pilot

FCS

stygium particle accelerator

the choice from there is either three TIEs all would need to be academies

or

bounty hunter with recon spec

do I go for numbers or the hammer

If I know I'll be facing Fat Han, I'll take Soontir+PTL, Howlrunner and 4 Academies. That leaves 4 points to spend. I might try Determination and Hull Upgrade on Howlrunner, or upgrade the Academy Pilots to Obsidian Squadron, or Stealth Device or Hull or Shield Upgrade on Howl or Soontir.

So only reason i can see taking a Shadow is to shoot before Tala's? Unless Han + Xwing lists usually have initiative? Because you could save 2 points taking a Sigma. Meaning if you take the BH you have a few points for a Bomb on it. Or you could use the 2pts for crew on the Sigma(IA seems popular). Or if you take the TIEs you could upgrade 2 of them to Obsidians(PS3) which will make them less vunerable to Predator lists.
