Perfect timing with this post! I just saw the Holiday Special in the theater yesterday!
It was a lot of fun.
One request though: I WANT A LUMPY CREW CARD! Lumpy is my hero!

Here's an article I wrote about my experience seeing it in the theater.
That is so cool you got to see it in the theatre on a large screen. I think I watched it back in 1978 when I was 8 years old, but honestly can't remember. I think my subconscious buried the memory of seeing it at that young agge to save my brain any permanent damage.
For those of you have searched to find the entire holiday special on the internet, it seems to be a lost cause. I found bits and pieces, but everywhere that used to have the holiday special have had the content removed. I wonder if Disney is forcing them to remove it. Because part of me thinks that would be pretty great if it is. That would be hilarious.
Well the prequels gave us Anakin Skywalker. I guess if the Holiday Special is canon then it'll be remembered as giving us Mannequin Skywalker.
