The Crew Car Jan Ors states:

Once per round, when a friendly ship at Range 1-3 performs a focus action or would be assigned a focus token, you may assign it an evade token instead.

If a ship has Recon Specialist on it would Jan just change one of the focus or both to evade, is it a player choice or must the change both if they chose the evade. The way I read it, it would only be one to an evade but others have argued that it is both... Any answers from FFG on this? any thoughts?

"Once" per round "an" evade. I think card text is pretty clear. Recon spec and Jan can give you one evade and one focus.

I agree with you but some people say that when you use Recon it is once per a turn you get two focus and therefore you can change both. I wold say only one focus but was wondering if it is stated anywhere.

Once per round = This card activates once per round.
