We all know by now how good Fat Han can be. The question is if all the support ship are gone and it is super Dash Vs Fat Han (either the one with gunner or the one with R2D2) Who would win? Han with R2D2 mean he can void 3 hits a turn and Dash ability to arc dodge is void. Can Dash do enough Damage and out last a Fat Han, I am not so sure at this point, If Dash can land 4 hits a turn he would only do 1 real damage every turn, unless R2D2 caused han to flip something nasty. Then it becomes how long can dash stay alive. Thoughts? comments?
Fat Han vs Super Dash
In a straight slug-fest, Han would obviously win by virtue of guaranteed damage negation.
The problem then, in a timed setting, becomes you can kill the Zs first before we have to start playing Benny Hill on loop
Edited by ficklegreendiceI think it comes down to asteroid placement and how well the Dash player can abuse his pilot ability and predict where Han is going to move. With his higher PS and Engine Upgrade Han has a decent chance to get into range one of Dash.
It kind of comes down to dice, in my opinion. If Dash can stay at Range 3 with or without rocks in the way, Han is throwing three attack dice to Dash's three greens. Han wins on attrition, but he may not get the time for that: Dash turns around and throws four red dice at one or two greens from Han. Han has more health, but takes damage faster; Dash has less health, but can potentially completely evade an attack from Han.
Han with Engine Upgrade has a chance at getting inside the donut, especially with the full dial open to him, but frankly Dash should do whatever necessary to make sure that doesn't happen; Dash should take every opportunity to fly over rocks almost every turn. That will mean Han can't follow the same course, which means Han should be a little slower. On top of that, Han's only attack modification will be his rerolls or a Predator reroll, which provide some consistency but hardly guarantee 3 damage every turn. Dash usually has a Focus handy, which he can spend on attack or defense (and is rolling more dice in either case, making it more valuable anyway).
Even with R2D2 on Han I give the slight edge to Dash, since this is going to be a really drawn-out fight. There's going to be a lot more opportunities for R2D2 to flip a card, and every round Han gets closer to losing his ability or moving to PS0.
But, again, dice can betray even the best-laid plans. So, honestly, without watching a dozen or more iterations of this fight, I think it will bank more on a clutch dice roll or R2D2 card flip.
Too many variables come into play, especially if you take in the escort fighters on both side. I will say this, however; Dash only needs to make a single mistake and let Han get within range 1 for things to get ugly.
