Luck points

By amuller93, in Only War House Rules

Ok, so i have been thinking of adding a sorta extra fate point that can be used by my players. In sweden we have a saying "tur i oturen" whice litraly translated means "luck in bad luck" its like geting youre house burnt down rigth after you got youre insurence. how would they be used? well lets say that a PC gets hit by a deadly shot doing a wooping 11 wounds damage after TB and armour, then the PC can use that point and if all agree (other pc and GM) the Gm can decied something els happens, like the shot strikes youre ammo pouch reducing the damage to 6 and destroys youre ammo.

Now im only speculating this can be a terribel ide

Isn't that what Fate points are for, though? I recall one of the specific uses being avoidance of death, whilst still having something bad happen to the character.

Maybe that's just me, but it does feel a bit redundant... (sorry)

I agree with Lynata on this. No sense in reinventing the wheel to achieve the same effect near enough. Just expand the variety of applications of spending Fate in your game?

Yea i think you both are rigth
