Just wondering if you guys use one peg or two while playing. Just picked up a 3x3 vinyl play mat at my flgs.
Just curious. I think I like two pegs with large ships and one with the smaller bases. Not sure though.

Decimator with no pegs. Low rider!
Since most of my pegs are cracked, I've had to super glue a lot of them together. Also, magnets. I've got a few pegs left that don't have mags attached and are unbroken so if need be, I can raise my ships.
When using large ships like the Falcon, Shuttle, or now the Decimator, I tend to stick em on the huge ship stands and let them tower over these small ship peons
I like the way the ships look on one peg in general. Sometimes if I'm using a name and unnamed pilot of the same ship I'll put one of them on two pegs. And of course the B-Wing and the Firespray have to have two pegs.
All. Of. Them.
Most 1 peg. The ones that require it get 2 (B-wing and Slave-1).
Started with two...went to one for the 'sleeker' look...now I'm back to two for ease of measurement during casual games. Two pegs is actually pretty nice now that I've put washers on my bases to weigh them down.
I'm a 2 peg man muhself *hooks thumbs through suspenders*
I like how the models look on 2 pegs.

DITTO!!

Most one peg cos that is the way I store them. When I go to play no assembly required
Edited by X Wing NutI like using 3 pegs if I only have one of any particular type of ship. But if I have multiples of any one ship, like my 3 TIE-Bombers, then they each have a different number of pegs (usually 1, 2, & 3).
Went from 2, to 1, then back to two.. and if I have 2 large base ships, I put them on my transport base and connector.. gets em waaaaaaaay up there.. lol.. so now my Albino Cosmic Manatees are way up and out of the way for full wing deployment. and the third one gets 3 pegs.. lol..
I find I like to see them up high these days.. may go to 3 pegs..
I like to fly my A-Wings without any pegs.

Decimator on a CR90 stand. High rider? All about them (space) hydraulics!
depends on what they look like... ![]()

I flew dual Deci's like that.. very intimidating.. hahaha..
Just to add some drama and more of a 3D element to my games:
Decimator = 3 pegs
Lambda/Firespray = 2 pegs
Small bases = 1 to 2 pegs
I found that with the Decimator the sculpt's base overhang is mitigated by the height ... plus adds to the domineering presence of the ship.

For me it is the other way round
I started at two. Then I didn't want to change to one as I thought it looked a bit odd with the B-wing sticking out above the others, making it feel like a prime target.
But then I discovered with one peg I don't hit the miniatures as often during measuring as I do when I use two. ![]()
Never considered "no" pegs.
I prefer one peg for two reasons:
Shuttles and Firesprays seem to require 2. The Decimator looks best with 1 peg, all low profile and fancy like that.
For star fighters, I usually stagger them, 1 peg/2 peg so they don't occupy the same Z space and cause awkwardness.

I do the same thing most times. Unless it's a 3 ship list, then they're all on 2. Also named pilots always get the extra peg.
