For those WNY X-wing players looking for a game, there's a group that meets Thursdays around 6pm at Collector's Inn.

I didn't start the group, but I've been going to play for a few months now. There's a good turnout every week, with an average of three games going at any time, and room for more. We've run head-to-head matches, scenarios, team games, and held a tournament. Best of all, the group is friendly. I've met some great people and always have an absolute blast.

I've been to Niagara hobby, for a few tournaments with my group, but since a new guy took over the X-wing scene, I havnt been. its an hour drive for me and the guy......lets just say we don't like the guy. so to hear of a new group in the area is awesome.

Don't know if I can make Thursday nights though, but I will see.

Given the recent weather, are you running Hoth-themed events?

I just heard about this place at a tournament I went to last Saturday. I also heard there's gonna be a tournament there on December 27th was looking into going before the tournament. I'll hopefully be there this week.

DarthSidious, we should! Some of our regulars actually missed the first tournament due to being snowed in.

Well several of us work right around the corner at Praxair and hopefully plan on joining in on the Thursday night XW fun.

Collectors is a great place to play! Like Wishbone said, it is definetly a friendly atmosphere!

The tournament for Sat, Dec 27th has been moved to Sun, Dec 28th @ noon. There will also be tournaments on Sat, Jan 31st & Sat, Feb 28th. Events are created on the Collector's Inn FB page so you can register and we can get an estimate of the turn out. Even though they are tournaments, will still want to keep it friendly and cordial. So let's all help each other out when possible. As stated above we have a pretty soild core of players but are always looking to add new pilots, so come on out and remeber to "Fly casual".

Prizes: You will get to pick first from the items in the kit. We have han solo promo cards, scimitar pilot cards, promo tokens, promo boxes and more. There will also be some store credit awarded to top performers.

Format will be Head to Head, and pairings will be swiss pairings.
