I don't like Determination on Chiraneau. 3 points + EPT is not worth it for coming up with a 2nd crit on your focus when you've already gotten the first.
Nothing to see here. Move along.

... I am an idiot tonight. I thought that was marksmanship.
Yeah, Determination is brilliant on something with 12 bloody hull.
I feel that if you don't have some defensiveness on the decimator they go down quickly, at least with my experience so far. This is the list I have been using:
With PS8, unless you're looking at a lot of phantom match-ups, I think Predator is better. When you stress yourself you still desperately need that evade from Isard, so you're kind of locked in to 2-banks which make you pretty predictable. The PS9 Rebels you need to worry about either can't keep up with you or have turrets. Unless you're talking about a VI Jake with Prockets. That's brutal.

Except that PtL is what makes you able to arc dodge, yes you have to do a 2 bank, straight, or 3 straight, but that is surprisingly no where near as predictable when you follow that with a EU in the combat round. Oh, you blocked me? I hope you used more than one ship, cause otherwise I will boost past your blocker and lay waste to it. Dont need to EU or have a second action due to being outside of arcs and behind other ships? Just TL and try to stay at range 1-2 which gives you a mini focus for offense. Run onto an asteroid and unable to shoot? Start of combat round you just boost off that bugger (as long as your front is clear) and line up your shots.
Edited by Hujoe BigsI think if Decimators could beat the Fat Falcon you would be hearing allot more grief from them. For some reason I don't hear any threads about Decimator OP unlike the Phantom and Falcon threads that we used to get.
Maybe we need a little more time.
The YT-1300 isn't a problem by itself, what makes it borderline overpowered is two evades per turn, one of which doesn't even require an action. Ysanne is a balanced 3PO.

But Moffy J, Ysard, Captive is by no means bad!
The Phantimator lists are going to be brutal. The Decimator's weakness is Swarms. A Swarms weakness is the Phantom. The Phantom's weakness is the YTs. YTs < Decimators IMO.
I can see it being a very good list, but i would definitely not say Decimator>YT.
Fat han with the right options is very definitely at least as durable as the Decimator, has the same firepower and a better dial for the same cost.
If there is an advantage for the imps, it's probably the ability to take the Phantom alongside it!
