My cry to FFG for help!

By Bohrdumb, in X-Wing

To whom it may concern:

The Dark Forces have aligned themselves against me. While kitting out the YT2400 to engage in actions against the Empire, Sith operatives have swiped the Wild Space Fringer (the cardboard base insert piece).

Due to supply issues, the Rebellion is currently unable to spend much capital to replace it. The co-leader of this particular Rebellion might consider it wasteful to authorize the procurement of another ship just to replace one so lowly as a Fringer.

With that in mind, I write seeking aid. Help me FFG, you're my only hope.

Seriously though - Any chance I can get a replacement for the cardboard piece for the Wild Space Fringer? I would be happy to take pics of the actual ship and such or show a bank statement to prove that I do own the ship itself. I attended a holiday gaming event, and upon returning home could not find the piece anywhere. No one I know has it in their possession and the FLGS did not have anyone turn something in of that nature.

I would be happy to contribute a small amount to your bottom line, so as to help pad the numbers and increase your chances of receiving a holiday bonus.

/Of course, as I was posting this after having sent it to their CS, I saw a number of typos. I fell lax on my number one rule of being a professional - don't write anything important before 10am.

I lost one of those cardboard tiles for a HWK at Gen-con. Requested replacement shipped like three days later. It was like, wow. Hopefully they can get you one so soon after release.

They are very helpful in replacing defective ship pegs as well.

Well if this isn't your indication to defect to the right and true side of this conflict I don't know hat is. If you were with our well funded war effort you could have contacted your nearest imperial supply officer and he would have gotten you your chit that day.

Fight terrorism!! Join the empire!!

The problem is not having a picture of the lost piece.

You don't have to have a picture of the lost piece. You might be able to send one if you have one, but it's optional.

I requested some lost HWK cardboard pieces without picture and got them.

I did wait a month before I requested my lost base for my Tantive....and found it on my hobby table. Good thing I didn't request it right away!

I echo all the above, they sent me 4 base cards for 2 Z95's without cost and I got them about 2 weeks later and I live in the UK!
