I am fairly new to the game and have acquired a number of expansions. However, I can't find the Millennium Falcon anywhere. Is there a plan to re-release it?

I've been advised by chaos cards another 3-4 weeks for slave 1. I expect the falcon will be the same.

Aye, I'd take it with a pinch of salt too. Still, I have £8 of store credit with them, and I'm in no particular rush, so I was just asking if I could preorder it, and they volunteered the info.

And it sucks b&n doesn't transfer product from one store to another, or at least I haven't heard of them doing it.

The Barnes and noble on Charleston and rampart, and the one on rainbow near lake mass did not a few weeks ago when I checked while visiting Vegas

Pretty much the only reason i am waiting for it... can't believe they haven't released any imperial ship with those upgrades yet =(

Well if you keep tabs on the "upcoming" link at the top of the page you should be able to guesstimate it fairly well.

I believe the only ships "on the boat" are the huge ships, TIE Advanced and Y-Wings.

There are a ton of ships in production that haven't changed to "on the boat" status including all of Wave 6, reprints of most of Wave 4, A-Wings, B-Wings, Firesprays, and Falcons.

Once they change to "on the boat" you should be looking at at least 4-6 weeks but if they continue to have shipping slow downs outside their control then it could be longer. I would guess sometime in February at the earliest if the status updates are done timely and accurately.
