Then you have too many dragons in your deck partido_risa.gif

Imagine that the expansion will contain of 90 cards.

If you triple that, then you are adding 270 nasty dragon theme cards to your adventure deck ! gran_risa.gif

I'd like to see the dragon expansion come with two dragon endings - one which you must battle, and the other which you must face in psychic combat. Or one ending where you have to fight it with your lower ability.

I'm more keen to see the fate based expansion, though.

So Velhart, you think that it is possible to have "too many dragons" in a deck!!! sorpresa.gif

Look at any front box of the Talisman main game in any incarnation, you will see that characters change but they all face a dragon demonio.gif

Can never be too many nasty dragons in Talisman. gran_risa.gif

I wish you to get the "Highlander expansion" faster than you did frostmarch from the mail happy.gif

Cheers

Well...dragons are always welcome, but 3 times the same expansion adding to the adventure deck.... happy.gif

I am already happy if a dragon expansion will show up in the future ! gran_risa.gif

yeah, they all face a dragon on the main box from every edition.

The Red dragon on the main box of 4th should be the Dragon King.

The Funny thing is that there is not a single red dragon in the main game from 4th

But the 3th edition main game has a red dragon !

The Frostmarch expansion arived pretty quick here, if i compare it with the Reaper expansion

They could add slaved people too, who join you, if you defeat his master ( dragon cultist)

Or some slaved people that will do something for you, if you give them some gold.

it would be nice to see a handful of huge temples ( following the story of the dragon king)

Or a Dragon cultist headquarter ( as a place card) gran_risa.gif

How about a "Dragon Graveyard" as a resting place card like the legendary one for the elephant!!

I think that since all a slave belongings is own by his master you would only give the gold to him. How about the slave does something for you if you buy his freedom back!

Dragon egg's would be nice too mostly if they have some nasty effect on the owning character demonio.gif

Cheers

A Dragon Graveyard would be nice to add to the game. gran_risa.gif

The Dragon expansion has only the Cave of Bones, but a Dragon Graveyard is different.

It would be a nasty place card.. demonio.gif

That's a nice idea about the slave part..

You must pay some gold to the master to get the slave. The slave can offer you something special. maybe a teleport, a special object, or maybe something better!

Then we can finally spend some gold lengua.gif

I am tampering with the idea of creating the ultimate scariest follower cards, the "mother-in-law" and it would be based on the wife character "Stella" from the 2nd season of the original Star Trek series, the episode named "I Mudd" gran_risa.gif

She could be sent against any enemy and sap their strengh and craft and strike fear with her constant nagging and finger pointing, making them rip for the killing or moving them to a different space demonio.gif

I hope you can imagine the trauma on a young kid's mind back then at seeing Stella coming forward and blasting poor Harry Mudd with insult and nagging sorpresa.gif good thing Harry had the remote to shut her up. BTW if you haven't seen this episode I strongly suggest viewing it before getting married demonio.gif

Cheers

Outstanding! And hilarious, too. I can just imagine drawing that card from the Adventure deck and then imagining (all too well) her malicious screeching:

"Harcourt Fenton Mudd! What have you been up to? [steps close to me, sniffs my breath] HAVE YOU BEEN DRINKING?!?!"

Ahhh, good times, good times. aplauso.gif

PS: do you suppose that Talismans are actually carved out of dilithium??? (lol)

I saw another retro card, from the Dragon expansion, that will be included in the Highlands...

It's the Dragon Blood adventure(highlands) card gran_risa.gif

And Electrical Storm.

And Electrical Storm.

It's for the mainboard in third edition lengua.gif

Hmm.... Didn't remembered that lengua.gif But its roots are from Dragons gui%C3%B1o.gif

true gran_risa.gif

The Magpie looks like the crow from Dragon Tower, but total different.

The Healing Potion is different than the Healing Potion from Dragons and Dragon Tower

I saw that there is also a Cloud dragon in the Highlands.

That card is from the Dragon expansion too gran_risa.gif

i wonder if we still get a dragon expansion in the future..

They are adding cards from (Dragons) to different regions..

Why wouldn't we get a Dragon expansion? There are so many kind and color of dragons and so much can be done with the tower!

Dragons are such an integral part of Talisman that we can't have too much of them and for that an expansion is in order to represent them well gran_risa.gif

The Dragon Tower, like Timescape, is too good an idea to let it die with 2nd and 3rd edition and I know that if done well FFG will get a winning expansions on their hands demonio.gif

I was just thinking about it, because they are adding cards to other regions from the dragon expansion happy.gif

Unless they add also the dragon blood, mountain dragon and cloud dragon to the mainboard.

i still keep my fingers crossed for a dragon expansion with all the 2th edition cards happy.gif

Cards that we have from the dragon expansion..

Mountain Dragon, Cloud Dragon, Dragon Blood, Healing Potion, Electrical Storm, Wyvern, Treasure Chest, Treasure Map,

Magic Helmet, Magic Shield, Magic Teeth, Magic Mage, Eagle lair (similar to eagle's nest)

Wand of Dragon Fire is somewhat a idea from Rod of Dragon Fire( but slightly different)

Miser Dragon looks the same idea as Dragons Lair

We play with a house rule that beefs up the enemies that you face. For every 4 attribute points you gain in a single attribute, the enemy gains an extra die for the fight. This is only for straight attribute points, doesnt include attribute points gained from gear, spells, or followers. So if your character starts with a 3 strength and gains four strength points through XP, fountains, praying, etc. then the strength 7 dragon you are fighting get two dice to roll for a possible total score of 19. It adds some strategy on how fast you want "level" your character. If you dont have any items or followers that increase your stats and you gain 4 or more stat points, then it makes the battles far more difficult. It is a simple rule and it makes the game a little more interesting.

How about a Dragon King/Prince npc character that is moving around the board.

It will steal a follower, when it lands on a character.

Maybe he can do some other things too.

The Dragon Tower could add a cell where all the followers are taken demonio.gif

You can rescue them if you enter the tower and try to break the cell.

On top of that, the Dragon cultist adventure cards can maybe try to steal some followers, and sacrifice them to the great Dragon King demonio.gif

They will probably be eaten by the dragons, and must be discarded.

Cool idea with a dragon NPC. I already got my mind working with lots of thougts here. It could be for an alternative ending like:

Dragon Hunters

The first to kill the Dragon King wins the game.

The Dragon King is bound to the power of the Vally Of Fire and can only be killed by one who has a Talisman.

Dragon King Start location: Crown of command (or tower)

Once every round the Dragon King flies to a location. He will encounter enyone in that location and stay there until next round.

Roll two dice:

2-6: Crown of Command (or tower)

7: Temple

8: Warlocks Cave

9: Castle

10: City

11: Village

12: Tavern

-1 to the result for every character on Crown Of Command (or Tower)

If there are two or more characters on Crown Of Command and the Dragon King is there, they must fight the Dragon King instead of eachother.

Dragon King will stay on Crown Of Command if there are any character there (But first when he lands there or already is there).

If a Character is Encountered or Fighting the Dragon King and has no Talisman, that character is losing a life an dropped in the Crags.

Dragon KIng: Craft: 14 strength: 14

That's the idea so far.

Cheers

I think that a Dragon Prince is better for a npc character.

The Dragon King can be used for the Tower then, and also as a alternative ending card.

The flying part is interesting.

I don't know yet when he should be triggered or activated.

I should say,... after a character defeat a dragon, the Dragon Prince will take his revenge.

1-2 he will eat a random follower from the character who beat the dragon

3-4 he will eat any stranger on the board that is close to him

4-6 He will steal a random follower from the character who beat the dragon, and take it to the cell of the dragon tower....?(if a cell exist..)

______

Of course, we need more dragons if the Dragon Prince can be activated.. preocupado.gif

This would fit if a Dragon expansion would be made

I can see from here a huge dragon eating mostly horses, mule and a porter as a delicasee across the Talisman board demonio.gif

Now we can say that the reaper is a pushover and watch every character who has more that 4 objects running around gran_risa.gif

Cheers
