When the X-Wings showed up, it felt a little like being a kid again. Especially when the sound of the X-Wing's engines got louder towards the end of that part. But when the Falcon zoomed past and started twisting and turning and dodgeing TIE Fighters, it might as well been 1983 again. I liked the new star wars movies and all but that part right there more than anything I've seen in the new movies felt like star wars and made me feel like I did as a kid watching star wars. It was like seeing an old friend you hadn't seen in many years.
Anyone notice the rectangular dish replacement for the falcon?

There's a real truth to those words. Even if it's a worse ship by most people's standards, if it's something I really love I tend to fly it **** fine. That's... Actually why I was so damned good in a Y-Wing during that short time I got to play the glorious game, Attack Squadrons.
God I was unstoppable in that thing.

You should boycott the movie over it.
It seems kinda sluggish. I think the chase camera deceives the viewer because of how it is moving while chasing the Falcon.
The ship looks cool though!!!

Because it's the Milennium F*cking Falcon. Also the Falcon honestly isn't that large, really.
Compared to many things in Star Wars, and Science Fiction in general, it's actually quite... petite.
Check out the TIEs.
Its super hard to see but it looks like the view panel is a much more pronounced bubble.
And the struts connecting the wings flare much wider as they meet the body.
