What do you think of the teaser? I hope the movie will bring more pilots for the Falcon, TIE's and X-wings. GG J.J
Stormtroopers, TIE-fighters, sithlords, the empire is back! #EPVII
Dude, it was awesome. That triumphant roll into the space just above the sand that the falcon pulled, seeing that was just
oh man
oh man oh man oh man
OH MAN OH MAN OH MAN
OH MAN OH MAN OH MAN
Falcon can barrel roll now. Hypermegafat Falcon builds incoming.. We are doomed. Doomed i say.
Nah - that was clearly a Koigoran turn it pulled.
I wonder who is piloting the Falcon.

Sorry, im still really green, whats a koigoran pull?
A typo for Koiogran...
It's gonna suck.
Oh, a K-turn ![]()
I know it is getting some flak as impractical, but I love the 'broadsword' style light saber!
Impractical? That crossguard looked pretty clever to me.
Did you also get the impression of stormtroopers being a tad more dangerous. I got this vibe from one special forces are being deployed or preparing themeselves. This moments in movies when the do finel checks of eq before drop.

I'm hoping it means less filler lightsaber spinning
imagine if obi-wan and anakin pulled that **** in episode 3 with the cross-guard saber, at least one of their wrists would have come spinning off.

I got the same vibe. These guys, even in the short bit we see them, looked competent, in the sense that top of the food chain guys all are. If you have ever spent time around the real deal, they have a particular way of efficiently moving and doing things that you can instantly identify as dangerous, they stand out even when unarmed in a room full of regular people. It's a difficult thing to capture and imitate on film, the stormtroopers here seem to have some measure of it.
I'm hoping that isn't just ridiculous optimism on my part, if JJ can capture the little things like that this movie could really, really rock.

That's how I've always pictured them anyways, but to see it in an official trailer...

they don't extend to the blade, where the opposing blade will get caught the most. It will just end up striking the corner, lopping off one of the light daggers on the side, as well as a good number of fingers.
Wait. Light daggers. What if the cross guard was light daggers that could pop out and stab people with? (of course, why not just use a vibroblade or a blaster, but hey)
I'm very pleased to see the new x-wings, especially that awesome sequence skimming the water. It matches the nose art on my x-wing repaints! Lucky me
Are we sure those are Imperial Stormtroopers?
And not Peacekeepers of the Grand Army of the New Republic?
Is the narrator the ghost of Darth Vader?

That would be incredible, actually.

Lego always knows very soon what's in the movies, so then can release sets on time, and a few months ago they posted this picture. If you look to the upper right then, you can see a stormtrooper and the empire logo, so what it means...
Is the narrator the ghost of Darth Vader?
I heard somewhere it was Benedict Cucumberpatch
Sounded pretty much like Andy Serkis...

's assuming the emitters are on the outer edge of the metal for the hilt. The way I see it, the emitters are recessed into the metal, the metal's just guarding them from damage. Or the hilt could be cortosis or some other lightsaber proof material. Either way, Lightsabers with Crossguards SQUEEE
