Heya folks, i was watching this
slave one scale
I don't think I see what you mean - at 2:51 you see the Firespray and it looks to have a cockpit on two levels to me. I can't tell where Boba Fett is.
You can't really expect the scale to be consistent anyway, they had lots of different models of the same ships, with discrepancies between them all. To know the true size of the ships you can't measure the models out of context, what counts is how the ships appeared on screen, since that reflects what they're supposed to look like in the eyes of the artist (i.e. George Lucas).
There's 2 cockpit sections as Mazz0 said, the scale is still the same.
I remember my old slave 1 toy had a place to clip a figure in and rotate it so it was facing out the window. The window was about the same size as a figure. Doubt the toys were particularly worried about scale though.
The toys were not to scale for Slave 1 or the Falcon.
I just re-watched the original trilogy the past week, when slave 1 jettisons with the imperial trash, its pretty close in size to the falcon, i was actually surprised at how close they were as i always pictured the falcon to be bigger.
Ha are my eyes that bad? I swear i can see him, make out the gaps on his helmet faceplate. He's sitting far forward the wrong way, as if the ship flys with the cockpit front and thrusters pointing down. I remember joyously cramming figures in the old toy falcon when i was a kid, i'm not sure i like the way i'm more anal now than then about the scale of my toy spaceships.
