I thought a good thematic list for 150 points would be a 'system patrol force' of a VT49 and two defenders.

Thematically as they can between them make hyperspace jumps and the defenders can ionize shipping for the troops ona VT 49 to board. Customs inspections, anti terrorism patrols and surprise attacks.

Thats the theory.. now for the build.

What would you guys suggest for a force with these three ships built to work well together.

So the only thing i'm really fixed on is the composition so lets not alter the ship choice.

1 x VT49

2 X Tie Defender

(i could be pushed to put a phantom in but i want all ships to be lore wise 'jump ships'_

Am i better going for the 'hammer/anvil' idea of a damage absorbing and obstrucitng VT49 with the defneders whizzing around picking things off with HLCs *or* should i make the VT49 a stress generator or try and push for the (slightly) more nimble options.

New ship to get my head around the VT49 and to a degree the defender as i've not really liked them before but think two of them look great flanking a decimator.

Im not too fussed about a super meta competetive list as i play narrative games with mates but a list thats not a total turkey would be appreciated.

Note i dont expect anyone to do a full list for me, im not that lazy (but if you want to thats great) but really want some good ideas of combinations that would work well with the two.

While i love imperial ships more i pretty much always end up playing rebels by default so my experience with any imperial ships other than original trilogy type TIE varients is limited.
