Advice on various YT-2400 outfits and builds

By Scoundrel, in X-Wing

Ok, this ship just landed in my apartment. What is good to fly with this? Swarm-yt2400, dual yt2400 or maybe yt1300 - yt2400? but i have no idea how to config the builds.

Oppinions?

Too early? : )

There are dozens of possibilities. What part of the ship makes you want to fly it?

I'm looking at the PS3 Outrider pilot, Outrider, HLC, Lando, Experimental Array, a GSP with Chaardan and PTL and two Chaarden outfitted prototypes.

I've had good success with Leebo, determination, Outrider, HLC, Lando. Paired with 2 Green A-wings with test pilot, charadin refit, outmaneuver, Predator.

With my personal fondess for mini-swarms, I'm going to run this at the first possible convenience

Dash (52)

*HLC

*Outrider

*what's-his-face green straights

*Push the Limit

El Bandito, times 4 (48)

Many people seem to love E.U, and while I understand how far it places large bases (love flying EU shuttles ^_^ ) I don't mind trading it for a ton of reliable blockers. Barrel-roll and that insane dial should be enough for maneuverability with NyanNyan or w.e opening up more greens after PTL triggers.

I've yet to try out the Outrider myself but the "hypermobile" build people were getting worried about a month or so back was this:

Hypermobile "Fat Dash" (58)
Dash Rendar (36)
Push the Limit (3)
Heavy Laser Cannon (7)

Outrider (5)
Kyle Katarn (3)

Engine Upgrade (4)

It's got PTL to boost and barrel roll together like a TIE interceptor (better actually because large base) and Kyle Katarn gives it focus tokens whenever it sheds the PTL stress (so if it gets blocked or asteroided it still gets a focus token). Excels at dodging arcs, protecting its "donut hole" and getting that Heavy Laser Cannon where it wants it to be.

If you're going with the HLC turret, take the cheapest one. Vrill's ability affects primary weapon.
