So per the current FAQ Autoblasters on a YT-2400 with Outrider title firing outside it's arc would prevent the evade from Autothrusters correct?
Autoblasters vs. Autothrusters
Correct.
SO....there is still a turreted ship that just came out in Wave 5 that can deal with them....oh and it can even barrel roll to get into range if need. Almost like FFG thought it out.
Autothrusters would have done nothing against an Autoblaster even before the rule change in that most recent FAQ. Autothrusters doesn't grant a token, it just modifies a dice result.
An Outrider with Autoblasters seems like it would be terrible. Especially against high PS targets with boost and barrel-roll like Interceptors.

I'm not saying it would be great but as a turreted weapon on a YT-2400 it would give you 360 that can shut down Autothrusters...that is all I am saying.

If your opponent is silly enough to put his squint(s) at range 1 of your Autoblaster-2400, he deserves to get destroyed by it.
I just want to make it clear that Outrider + Autoblaster and Autoblaster Turret do not stop Autothrusters from triggering. They only prevent the [Evade] result it grants from cancelling the attacker's [Hit] results. Autothrusters would still provide protection against the attacker's [Crit] results.
And I'd hardly say that turrets "can't deal with" Autothrusters, they just now have a reason to consider their maneuvers more carefully.
