Good day! I and my associates are working with Gary Chalk, illustrator of the first two editions of Talisman, to create a new project on Kickstarter. This is from a different classic fantasy series, Lone Wolf, and the product will be a new board game: more a wargame or skirmish game played on a board, really.
Our project is here:

A free print-and-play scenario is here:

The downloadable beta rulebook is here (unedited; yes, we are working on the typos):

Lone Wolf is the story of the last of the Kai Lords, warrior monks who defend the land of Sommerlund against the Darklords and their minions. It was written by Joe Dever starting in the 1980's and originally illustrated by Gary Chalk. Gary designed his own board game version back in those early days, and now 30 years later it's playtested and ready to share. The game is one of the most artistic projects you're likely to see: just in case his Talisman work wasn't your favorite, we've been posting evidence of how Gary's art has only improved in 30 years .
Before posting here, I checked with moderators to be sure that an outside project would be acceptable. There is no actual Talisman content in the Kickstarter: this would be for people who wanted other Gary Chalk creations, or beautiful fantasy gaming in general.
We hope you'll take a moment to look, share the free downloads, and pledge if you can. Thanks for reading!
