Elrond. I really do use Eowyn more, but Elrond has a lot going for him. I think it's neat that he can't heal unless another card is doing the healing first. And I'll forgive him for knocking Beregond out of the competition.

Aragorn. Just plain like him better.
Interesting that there is no leadership or tactics. I'm going to follow joezim's strategy and go with Magali Elves
AZ - Elrond - Not super thrilled about either of them. I would have preferred either Frodo or Beregond.
BA - Galadriel - Not much new to say. I love her abilities and her art. Aragorn has too much competition with the likes of Haldir, Beravor, Leadergorn, and Tactigorn.

Interesting that spirit and lore are so strongly represented here. Galadriel and Elrond both end up as hybrid spirit/lore heroes once you attach their rings to them.
My votes:
AZ: Eowyn - I use Eowyn waaay more often. I think I prefer building decks that focus on how all three heroes work in concert rather than emphasizing a single hero. Eowyn works well with lots of other heroes, but Elrond always seems to steal the spotlight for himself.
BA: Galadriel - Both choices in this bracket provide dramatic solutions to the threat problem, but I love the way Galadriel inspires me to think about new deck combinations.

AZ - ELROND!!!!!!!!!!! never thought he would get this far and against who is left I actually think that he should win this! He can pay for allies of ANY sphere, boosts ANY healing in play for ANY player, can quest AND defend like a boss, is eligible for MANY great attachments including LoV, Asfaloth, Vilya, Burning Brand, Cloak of Lorien, Elven Mail, Protector of Lorien and more. He helps boost Silvan decks BIG TIME (I see him in ALOT of them on the forums) even though hes Noldor. He even has 2 attack and not a measly one so can even help a bit with offensive duties. Even though he has a very high starting threat because he can fulfill so many different duties, enhances all healing and helps with resource smoothing being able to pay for any allies you can easily pair him with lower starting threat heroes and still have a great team OR can pair him up with other high cost heroes to have a super team. Vilya and Unexpected Courage on him results in being able to play the top card of your deck for free every turn and then a willpower boost to questing or a great defender in the same turn, plus he gains the spirit sphere furthering his help to smoothing out resources out. Plus his art is just amazing!
BA - Aragorn. Really really hard choice but ultimately how great Aragorn used to be in my decks and how badly my try out with Galadriel went is the deciding factor and I have to go with the future High King of Arnor. Galadriel's inability to quest, attack or defend (without Nenya) really bugs me for some reason and doesn't suit my play style at all. I also don't really like the Mirror and don't think Nenya is anywhere near as good as Vilya. Aragorn on the other hand like Elrond can help out with attacking, questing or defense and with Wingfoot can do two. He also has all his toys available such as Sword that was Broken and Celebrian's Stone. He also has Sentinel which for a two handed player such as myself is really really powerful and has a whopping 5 health with which to soak up damage. To top it all off once a game he can reset your threat.... this can be the saving factor in MANY scenarios and can also allow a hero line up and deck build that doesn't feature much else threat reduction or a very high starting threat with powerful high cost heroes. Like Elrond he can fulfill many duties, has a killer ability that can allow you to leave out other cards or use a powerful line up and have an ability to help offset that somewhat and can become a beast with all his toys. Don't really think he should win the whole thing but prefer him to anyone else left except for Elrond.

I find it very amusing that PsychoRocka wrote this passionate monologue to go with his Elrond/Aragorn votes, and then 3 minutes later Dan casually tosses out a two word response that completely negates PsychoRocka's vote.
I love that PsychoRocka is passionate about every post he makes... even when he is trashing some of my favorite quests :b
