Aren't the quads secondary ARCs though, therefore it would trigger?

Autothrusters mentions nothing about primary or secondary arcs. Merely that you are out of firing arc and outside range 2. The secondary arc on the Firespray is still an arc. The printed arcs on the CR-90 are still firing arcs. Just because the arcs on the CR-90 are only used by the secondary weapons doesn't mean they are not firing arcs.

I'm curious - what about the Outrider title. Doesn't that make the only arc the 2400 has his turret? Would autothrusters kick in for a range 1 or 2 Mangler Cannon equipped Outrider?

It still has a forward arc even if it's using a turret so if your in are below range three autothrusters do not kick in.

To be clear... so far in this game there is no ship with a 360 arc. There are arcs and firing outside your arc which turrets do.
