If you use Dash for your pilot/ship card can you use the Dash crew card on the same ship?

Nope. Any crew/ship that has the unique dot next to it's name means you can only use one card with that name per list.

So for example, you cannot have have Dash as a pilot and Dash as a crew on the same ship, or on different ships.

Rulebook Page 18:

Unique Names

"This game box includes several famous pilots and astromechs from the Star Wars universe. Each of these famous characters is represented by a card with a unique name, which is identified by the bullet (•) to the left of the name.

A player cannot field two or more cards that share the same unique name. In a team game, this limit applies to each team (see “Team Play Rules” on page 20)."

And it goes for all card types not just pilot/crew

The ones with double ups that I can think of atm are:

Darth Vader

Luke Skywalker

Chewbacca

Han Solo

Lando Calrissian

Leebo

Dash Rendar

R2-D2

Note: I didn't include Boba or Kath as there is no way to include both incarnations in the same list currenty.

Same goes for some upgrade cards. You can't have more than one of:

Bodyguard

Experimental Interface

Lone Wolf

Squad Leader

and most of the ship Title cards

Don't forget Rebel Captive too... running shuttles with 2 Rebel Captives a piece would silly

Yeah, I wasn't about to list all the crew cards. I think the OP has probably got the point by now.
