Now. Something that always really bugged me when rolling up a new character is finding a suitable portrait for them. Especially given I usually play over the internet, and I was thinking, maybe we should build an easily accessible/found archive for character portraits for the community?

What do you think guys?

Eh, I don't think that's really doable. Even a rudimentary list would still encompass several hundred images. Even my own avatar/token folders already number into several hundred, and add to that character imagery saved to folders and we're talking about thousands.

General assets library, though, I can only recommend http://wh40kart.im/ and Deviantart.

Just a hint here, for what I tend to do. Most MMORPGs and Single Player RPGs allow a fair amount of customisation for faces and bodies at least. If you can get military or scifi ones, its not too difficult to use them for pics using screenshots.
