Resting

Rules question: Can heroes use both actions to Rest twice? I'm unclear about the phrase any combination of actions. Can you use the same action twice in a round? Ex. Move twice, rest twice, etc.

Indeed you can, there is only a few restrictions to it.

From Page 3 of the Rules Reference Guide:

A figure can perform the same action multiple times during the same activation except as follows:

  • A non-hero figure can use only one of its actions to perform an attack per activation.
  • A figure can perform each special action only once per activation.

We wondered the same thing and found that eventhough I as the IP thought resting twice was overpowerful, there are some possible IP class cards (I know the one I am playing has it) has an interupt when hero's rest in LOS.

Yeah, that's exactly why I asked. Seemed powerful to me. You can also rest when you have no strain to just heal damage I'm assuming? That seems like you could just spend a turn and almost fully heal.

That you definitely could but as my wife said when I told her I did the reply here: You COULD spend 2 actions to rest twice but most missions have had a timer to them. It always came down to "Do I rest now or try to hoof it?"
