With the upcoming Scum & Villainy faction also using them, I'm considering getting a third Hawk expansion. I sometime provide ships for my opponents, so once S&V will be released, I think three would give more flexibility in list building. It just seems to me they have more teeth with this new faction, enough to use more than one per build maybe. What do you think?

I've always liked the HWK as a concept but I think it tends to be too expensive for the buffs it provides, the only exception being Roark with an ICT. I really hope the S&V HWKs can be put to better use. As for your question, if you are serious about playing S&V then yes I would argue that you should buy another HWK.
I like the HWK, always have done and I've found it a useful support ship, especially when you stick a turret weapon on it. I'm looking forward to seeing what S&V do to it, if they do get better under that faction then a third one will definitely be purchased for my squads.
Don't you need to use the correct faction dial for competitive play?
I know OP didn't mention anything about competitive, but that's one reason that I'm shying away from additional HWK's - though I understand that it would be totally fine for casual play.
I don't see the S&V HWKs being significantly different from the rebel HWKs (as opposed to the Y-wing characters, which are like day and night) unless they get a badass scum-only turret
I mean, Mux packs some hilarious anti-phantom/anti-everything utility but I don't think the difference between them and Roark to be all that huge.
Now Palob is very interesting, and he could be an incredible hammer thanks to the swing granted from his ability.
Still, I highly doubt you'll run more than one HWK. Biggest problem to running them in multiples is a.) the cost of out-fitting a turret because 1-red-die offense is inexcusable and b.) the title being unique
Closest you'll get is probably running one and Kavil as a turret-packing wrecking crew, and escort them with 3 pirates (I know I will
)

The Most Wanted expansion will provide S&V dials for the HWK (and the Firespray), along with the pilot cards and base tokens.
I've run two HWKs in the past as part of an experimental Rebel list with the Falcon. They worked really well (admittedly I fitted one with the ion turret and the other with a blaster turret) and made a significant impact. I agree that without the turret they are a major struggle to get anything worthwhile from but I think that the S&V dials and options may make a three ship list a possibility.

I was under the impressiom that it only had one each of the firespray and HWK dials.
I personally feel you'd end up with an unbalanced squadron with 3 hwks. Not enough attacking strength to take advantage of the buffs. All bread and no filling in your sandwich.

Ah yes, I forgot to mention that I will be getting two of the Most Wanted expansion... so two S&V HWK dials and two S&V Firespray dials. I never intended to fly three on the same faction, two at most and for S&V maybe. I'm just considering having three so that the Rebels could also have one if S&V are using two.

I'm not buying anything until I'm certain just how many ships one pack will actually cover.
I have 3 HWKs, no regrets...
There's always more than one way to approach the game. Me I play casual and like the theme. It is hard for me to fly more that one 'freighter' regardless of faction. It just doesn't seem right to me. Theme wise more than one Firespray or YT-1300 takes away from the game; even including them too often isn't high on my list. Play, power and points wise that may be a different story.
To each their own.

We already know what one pack actually covers since it was announced. In the picture it shows two Y's, two Z's, one Firespray, and one HWK.

I'm with you for the YT-1300. I won't get a second one. Before S&V, I never considered getting a second Firespray. But two makes for a powerful list (and of course getting another Gunner and Veteran Instinct cards would be very nice). Unless its eventual "fix" is really strong, I won't get a second TIE Advanced either.
