I'm having some custom foam built, but I don't yet have the YT-2400 freighter or the Decimator. I have the shapes down but what I don't know is how tall the models are. Could someone who got an early copy let me know?

Swedge, I am using battlefoam but I am designing my own. The problem I found with the pre-done up ones is that they were often too deep and some of the more fragile parts would snag on the foam when I was pulling them out. But I do appreciate the reply none the less.

What I found that works for the large ships is to use spare pluck foam I've removed from other trays and make a cradle for the ship to rest on while it's in the tray. Just trim to the right size and then use Elmer's or another white glue to attach it to the bottom of the tray....works like a charm. This should work fine for the 2 ships of Wave 5 as the parts that would snag, the gun turrets, are on the top and bottom of the models.
