I flew a squadron yesterday that I think is worth mentioning:

Colonel Vessery with Veteran Instinct

It went surprisingly well. The bombers tagged the targets for Vessery who could keep his focus for defense or use his action to barrel roll out of sight. I got close while flying in formation but as soon as the fight started I broke out of it and tried to block with one or two bombers to help Vessery even more by setting the scene. The key factor of this squadron is the resilience: 30 Hit Points is a lot for your opponent to go through. The dial of the bomber is also good enough to stay on target (having the 1 straight and bank is a blessing in the imperial navy) or reposition far away with the 5 k-turn.

I'm actually surprised that the bomber mini swarm don't get to see more play in the current meta with all those big and costy targets floating around.
