My astroids are done, who makes acrylic replacement astroids?
I saw them somewhere, but can't find them again...
Thanks.

Corsec Engineering makes some.
Cool but they aren't the same sizes as x-wing asteroids are they?
I'm pretty sure they're exactly the same size as the standard asteroids... That's why they're bases.

I don't have them myself, but looking at the pics on the corsec site, they look to be the same shapes so I would assume they did the same size as well.

Yeah the whole idea is you can put a 3D asteroid on top of them but still have the same size and shape as the cardboard ones to use for measuring and checking maneuvers, and such.
These are ok, but does anyone make straight replacements?
What exactly are you looking for? A laser isn't really going to be able to add the printed detail from the tokens, all it can do really us cut out the exact same shapes. What else are you wanting them to be?
Corsec stuff is nicely made, but it takes awhile.
edit: fixed typo
Edited by patoxI saw some people using asteroid templates that had a sort of "radar scan" look to them at Worlds, but I don't know who made them.
Funnily enough, I only saw them once, at the table next to me, and both players had a set.

where do you find "Atwood templates"?

while I could do a straight replacement (using transparent acryl, laser cut to shape and then printed - see here what it looks like http://community.fantasyflightgames.com/index.php?/topic/124623-acrylic-hotness/) I'm not sure if there's a market for it :-) Doing it just for you as a one time project will be expensive (still possible though, but we talk about some 50ish dollar here for a set then). Also, it would take some time (approx 3 weeks), as I have some pending requests for token sets and range rulers that will be done first.
