You can now get twin Firesprays with EPTs at a 7 point discount, compared to the Imperial options.
Surely there is some insanity that can come out of this. How do we best do that?
How does the Mandalorian Merc alter your dual Firespray ideals?
Complain that imperials need a fix
The rebels wish they had a genaric Large Ship with a EPT ![]()
Heck, I wish the e wing had a generic ept
Ultimate Falcon killers?
Mando Merc (35) + Recon Spec (3) + Outmaneuver (3)
Mando Merc (35) + Recon Spec (3) + Outmaneuver (3)
[18 points on a Heavy Scyk]
Use the rear arc liberally to get Outmaneuver off as much as possible, plus you get the usual double-Focus shenanigans.
7-point discount sounds like "free HLC" to me
more realistically I would have 1 named Firespray and 1 Mandalorian Firespray, of which I would put the Slave I title and pretend is Boba Fett, if said namd Firespray isnt Boba Fett for some reason
I wanna try high PS hunters
Mando Merc (35) + Predator (3)
Mando Merc (35) + Predator (3)
Torkil Mux (19) + Ion Cannon Turret (5)
3 dice each with two arcs, and 1 or 2 re-rolls. If you can get torkil within range 2 of a high PS enemy, you've got a good chance to follow and gun down anything.

That's nice. I think it really takes advantage of Torkil's ability, even when you aren't up against a high PS squad.

EVERYTHING about our new glorious SCUM Firsprays is ... well, glorious!

Agree with everything here.
7 free pts means a lot. Heck, that really just means more pts for Bombs to go with that EPT.
Pred + Prox + Seismic + Multi bomb title

7 point discount?
Bounty Hunters are 33 points a piece, unless you are talking about the unique pilots and the 7 points will be in higher pilot skill and unique pilot abilities.
Still the bomb flinger won't have any EPTs.

I think the mercs would be more tantalizing if the new boba & kath had mediocre abilities like the imperial versions, however both have GREAT abilities now, so I think I'd still prefer them.
I'm liking the idea of 2 with Stay on Target and Outlaw Techs, especially if midrange pilot skill returns to prominency after Scum.
Push and Recon Spec is a friendly prospect. Double Focus/ Target lock for heavy attacks and good defense, or double focus Evade when you need to stay on the table. Predator and Recon Spec is also deadly.
Could combine Recon Spec and Bodyguard to protect Boba or an IG but retain your offense.
Maybe I just really like Recon Specialist... More ideas mulling...

If you wanted to run 2 Firesprays with EPTs before, it was 7 points more expensive.

The biggest limitation on the Mandolorian Merc (which, like other M&Ms, are delicious) is the fact that the other three Firesprays are pretty awesome as well, so it's harder to go with the generic. Emmon's lack of EPT will make him my least favorite (though bomb shenanigans will be hilarious), but it will be very hard for me to not want to run a "Junk in the Trunk" Kath list featuring bombs and her rear arc bonus pretty much non-stop.
