Forum,

if there are a few things that are well loved around the gaming table I'm lucky enough to haunt, they are:

good food, good drink, a good story, a good game, and... Conan.

Up until recently, we've had them all covered, except for one.

(because let's be real... there's been a lot of crap Conan stuff out there for a looooong time)

And so, I'm proud to present...

The Edge of the Aquilonian Empire

Take a look, and tell us what you think. It's definitely a work in progress, and we're still in the midst of play-testing a few aspects, but constructive comments are totally welcome.

I'm specifically hoping that some of the more rules/number crunchy members of the community would be willing to do a fly-by. We've made a few subtle changes to the rules, particularly in the combat area, that I hope will really help us capture the feel and flavor of the world of Conan.

I'll be updating things as various expansions come out, particularly the mass combat rules from AoR, so if you like what you see here, there's that (although there probably won't be much from FaD, as we're keeping 'Magic' rare and scary.

By the bye... I'd like to stress something mentioned in the credits - there is a lot of work (mostly found here) that has been modified to suit what we're doing... and all credit goes to the people that put in the work to create those things in the first place.

****... can a brother get a little help here?

I'm having a tough time posting a link to the docs... the link function seems to be broken, and I can't copy/paste the whole link.

And... it's fixed. That's what I get for using IE. Switched to Chrome, and copy/paste works just fine.

awayputurwpn - thanks for the kind suggestion...

Again, I look forward to your comments...
