List Advice

I don't normally play Imperials, but I thought I might give them a go tonight:

Colonel Vessery + HLC + Decoy

OGP + Weapons Engineer + FCS + Title

2 x Academy

Decoy lets Vessery shoot later if he needs to pick up a TL from someone else. OGP for the slow plodding doom. Academies for filler and flankers.

3 pts left to spend...

My personal taste would be:

For the shuttle

- Drop the title; it will only nab you one set of target locks that you would not get in the match. 3 points for a single action is rather costly. (-3 points)

- Replace fire control system with advanced censors (+1 points). Now you can target lock any time, even if you bump, which means you don't need decoy on Vessery anymore.

- Add engine upgrade (+4 points). You will regret it otherwise when enemies get behind you. Combined with advanced sensors, your shuttle can become very maneuverable.

For Vessery

- Drop decoy, add outmaneuver (+1 point). In the best scenario, you get a focus from your action, a free target lock from the shuttle target lock, a heavy laser cannon shot and if you're lucky, one less defense die on the defender (none on a popular YT-1300 build).

That's my 2 cents, but feel free to try something else ;)

If you stick with that list, I would throw a HU on Vessery. He'll be target numero uno, might help him live to see another round.

I like the ideas above. The Title is not bad as it looks. It allows the shuttle to be TL + Focus when it first engages. If you disengage you can also grab a TL as well. Its best on Jendon, but its not horrible on any shuttle.

The list played okay. Felt super underpowered. Wish I had gone with EU. Did run Outmaneuver.
