I second this but maybe add expert handling instead of daredevil since you can naturally boost already.

if you haven't run this combo yet (proton rockets optional), you haven't experienced the maneuverability orgasm that combining boost and daredevil can provide. it's absolutely amazing. i get what you're saying with the whole expert handling thing and i get it, but this tycho build is capable of stuff that no other ship is capable of and that's where the real value comes in. otherwise you're just a ps8 soontir with less attack and the inability to get multiple focus tokens for optimal turtling.

yeah, i can't think of any other than for a way to make the stress token stack as high as possible on tycho. lol. boost and daredevil is nasty though. it allows you to weave around things, get arcs on things you otherwise would have no shot at, and essentially do a 270 degree 1 k turn at the end of a manuever. it's glorious. try it out. i'm serious.

Oh I know Boost Daredevil is amazing. But since he was asking for super elusive A-Wings I figured that BR Boost would be Arc Dodgey enough considering the shedding of a Red TL on him. Homing Missiles are scary.

I was going to mention this exact build, and I'm surprised you are the first one to do so.

5 evade dice with a focus and/or an evade at Range 3 or Range 1 is beautiful.

Although I see why Tycho is popular. The best defence is to escape firing arcs, and Tycho would be unpredictable with such a high PS and the ability to boost + daredevil/expert handling using EI.

Still, Gemmer could boost + evade with PTL as well.

My vote is Gemmer!
