I tried building at the 125pts restriction and keep coming up around 126 or 127. So I made the point limit to 150 and keep running over the point limit. So in the end, I just went back to 100points and found there are some really good squads that fit in that limit.

Are you just trying 3 ships?

this is just a general whine thread. but with the decimator ive actually been fitting 2 or 4 ships total. interestingly, the less expensive Defeder builds end up with just 3. Mostly I think because you have to build harder on the other ships to compensate for defenders.

Decimators can definitely eat up those other 2-3 ship builds that are springing up but that one less agility just fails them so hard vs. a swarm. Since big meaty turrets already feared the swarm, 0 agility big meaty turret just sees the 7-8 swarm and thinks "good game".

Just add some lube to squeeze it in.

There are many combinations that would just be SO perfect with 1 more pt (something costing 1 less point).

Actually, I have a few Decimator builds which I think can handle swarms quite nicely.

Paul Heaver also had a list that looks like it'd do quite fine against them too. And a few other lists too, including Dash, in a pinch.

Lots of times, I actually worry more about being able to put up enough damage on a falcon.

Happens to me last night with a dirty Kath , xizor, Serrisu idea.

I always wanted to run hlc rexler with predator, howlrunner and 3 academies. Once my yt 2400 expansion arrives I can use Lone wolf instead for an even 100.
