So with much advice i have decided to go down to the local store tonight i have made up a flyer and letting people know that i have enough for multi people to play.
But my buddy wants to play tonight i just picked up a HWK what are some good lists with him

I like using Roark with three B-Wings.
HWK will let you make a good Kyle Katarn support ship passing out focus tokens. That will work well with any ship using missiles, that need to target lock to fire, so you can pass them a focus for the missile / torpedo itself. You can also try to use Jan Ors with Wedge, they make a nice combination, since Wedge usually hits so hard, giving him Jan as support can REALLY make him hit harder.

No. The statement you're reading implies the ship takes a target lock on its turn, the Kyle passes it a Focus later on.

Correct. It basically requires one HWK expansion for Jan, one Rebel Aces expansion for the Kyle crew card and one B-Wing, and two more B-Wings from any source.

Any swarmy rebel list works well with Roark. Amazing what he can do to a phantom list. Rebel Aces is definitely worth the investment I would say. Keyan Farlander makes the B-wing even better and the cards for A-wings are almost necessary to make them useful.

You should have all the parts to field that squadron. It's not a world-beater, but it should do OK.
