And Decimators go down so fast to 4+ ship builds.

Campaign rules I am writing including my S&R stuff feature turning ejected rebel pilots into rebel captives as a mechanic...

I'd swap EU for experimental interface. Isard gives you a free evade action once you take some damage so if you get blocked by a low ps ship you can still use expose.

True. I want to try ARC dodging with this beast though, and Navi/engine seems only route to go in that regard.

Alternates to expose: Marksmanship for crit-tasticness.
Ruthlessness for crowd control. The general idea though is at long range it grabs target locks, it skirts around slamming engines around, and when it gets the opportunity it expose-targetlocks.

Alternate list that I want to try with a deci. Patrol leader and 6 academy pilots. don't hate me.

You have three actions competing with each other in these builds though. Two of which cost 4 points each. I'd drop Expose and Weapons Engineer and add Gunner and either Veteran Instincts, Determination or Lone Wolf. That way you can always be setting yourself up for boosts and remain offensive.

been working of Double deci builds my self just fir fun... personally don't see the need for boost its not like that big tank is going to dodge anything!!! however i can see boost on Oquinn to run into folks. and or or Dauntless

boosting won't help you because that's not a maneuver. But daredevil is

never mind just read the boost card.. it is useless to use for boosting into objects as in its not allowed..lol

If you want arc dodging, engine upgrade plus PTL to chain off Ysanne's free action in the combat phase ain't bad. Expert Handling plus Experimental Interface works as well, plus sheds target locks. It's really what you want. Expose + EI creates a strong offensive ship, the other combo creates more opportunities for mid- to late-game dodging shenanigans.

except that expert handling + experiminetal interface double stresses you which is terrible when you need actions to survive
