My first time GMing and my group has finally come together...

By rowdyoctopus, in Game Masters

We have:

A Wookiee female with uncharacteristically black fur, formerly a prostitute and focused on social skills like charm and negotiation. (Colonist Performer)

A 5'2 Chiss with blue hair and silver skin, the son of a military general that led a campaign against a neighboring species.* (Smuggler Thief)

An activated war droid circa Xim the Despot. 9 feet tall and 25,000 years old. Brawn of 1, so labor droid cover won't go very far. (Hired Gun Heavy)

A human replica droid that worked for Tyber Zann personally before betraying him while trying to get in with Xizor and the Black Sun. When that failed, he had his appearance changed, his memory wiped and he became a bounty hunter. Doesn't know he is a droid. Being hunted by Tyber. (Bounty Hunter Assassin)

A Drall Doctor. Back story in coming, but I don't expect anything ridiculous. (Colonist Doctor)

*I got the Chiss player to fix his appearance. He misunderstood Wookieepedia, and really has no idea what the Chiss are. I'm gonna leave the obviously un-isolationist nature of his back story alone as it really won't factor in to anything. It was merely a reason for him to betray his father (stole needed military hardware, causing his father to not only lose a battle, but become KIA).

My friends are weird.

This sounds like an amazing story waiting to happen.

All would be welcome at my table except for the Wookiee Prostitute, I have a rule about not letting people play prostitutes. But if you are having fun go for it, I would like to hear about the first time the droids cover is blown.

You got me intrigued. If I may ask, why don't you allow a PC prostitute at your table?

Pss, Tyber Zann hunting you.. We broke him out from Kessel and turned against him, shot him in the back of his head and tossed his sorry ass out the air-lock (though still attached with some rope to the ship, just to keep his body frozen for the trip) over a year ago.

In my games, I tend to run my games with blackouts for sex scenes, and I find that someone playing a prostitute is usually a male, and they tend to make the prostitute "work" on a regular basis. Also I find someone playing such a character makes most females uncomfortable and possibly unwilling to play the game.

Aah, I see. Thanks for the explaining.

This is just a group of friends with no real opportunity for a female player, at present anyway. The player joked a lot about "working" but I confronted him on it. There is another thread here about it. It may come up from time to time, but it isn't going to be a regular thing.
