So i don't have to have a net connection to use them? was trying to access the one i use this morning to find the page was down... granted i am pretty sure its a temp thing but would rather have one that's on MY computer...
are there any Squad builders that are "DOWNLOADS"
All the Android ones ... but I guess that's not the answer you're looking for.
Go Go Gadget Battlescribe!
Battlescribe works well as you can install it on a computer and on ios and android devices for building lists on the go.
It doesn't generally tell you what the various cards do though so you will either need to know or find another source.
You can download an editor where you change the data files and enter the card text yourself if you want to however.
Army Builder from Lone Wolf Development works good too but it is extremely expensive just for 1 game system. If you play multiple games then it can be a good bargain. For me its just expensive since I sold all of my other games so I can finance x-wing . Almost forgot there is a free trial that you can download .
And if you want to give Armybuilder a go, then check by signature.
will just PRINT my saved squadrons for future reference.. I do have some on my phone. and i got one of the BIG Note phones. but the computer is bigger/faster and easier to see screen wise...
BattleScribe is a download for desktops and mobile (Android and iOS) and works great. I'm the one who has been keeping the X-Wing files up-to-date so I know they're in good shape (and I'm pretty available if you find an error or typo).
On desktop, it is easy to see what the cards do (mouseover) but it is a little trickier on the mobile interface (usually easiest to add them and then view the roster).
BattleScribe also has a few export formats to move rosters between devices, post on-line, or print, all of which display the card text.
Edited by Dr Luckywill check it out. Thanks.
I've got the pro version (cost a few dollars) on my android so that I could setup the syncing to my dropbox. Now everytime I edit a list, when my mobile gets a wireless connection, it updates it so that I can access the same lists on my PC.
