i was reading the FAQ about not being able to use the wrong faction dials for ships that don't match that faction and was wondering: if you could build a squad with one ship from each faction what would you build (within the standard 100 point squads)? Don't ask me how I got there but I think it'd be interesting to see what everyone comes up with. Maybe like Han Solo and RA Chiraneau with a scum ship would be a crazy combo, though if you're doing a 100 point squad you wouldn't have a scum ship there.

I did ask voidstate about adding an 'unrestricted' build option to his squad builder in case you want to do scenarios where one side is flying captured ships , perhaps as a ruse (like in ROTJ) etc

My FLGS is hosting a pirate tournament in Dec. Cross faction is fair game. No uniques or named pilots. And only one of each ship (I think - I'm not playing in it so I'm not 100% of the rules).

The Biggs and Howlrunner combo is just unfair. You have to fire on Biggs and Howlrunner gives the rest of your squad ghetto Target Lock. So good.

That's a wonderful idea but bodyguard being an elite pilot talent you'd have a tough time getting a bunch of ships with it, let alone with a lower pilot skill but you could still do like sabres or green squadron. Unless you give Biggs r2d6 and veteran instincts.
