Rebel Swarm build lists request

By gundamv, in X-Wing

Do any of you have any interesting Rebel Swarm 100-point build lists that you are willing to share?

I have for such a swarm:

3 X-Wings (2 core, 1 expansion)

1 Y-Wing

3 Z-95

2 A-Wing (1 expansion, 1 Rebel Ace)

3 B-Wings (2 expansion, 2 Rebel Aces)

1 E-Wing

Especially interested in teams with synergy and straightforward strategy.

Also have most cards. Notably, I have nothing from the Imperial Aces, Tantive IV, or Rebel Transport sets.

Thanks.

Airen Cracken — Z-95 Headhunter 19
Squad Leader 2

Biggs Darklighter — X-Wing 25

Prototype Pilot — A-Wing 17
Chardaan Refit -2

Prototype Pilot — A-Wing 17
Chardaan Refit -2

Bandit Squadron Pilot — Z-95 Headhunter 12

Bandit Squadron Pilot — Z-95 Headhunter 12

I call it "Air Biggs and the Proto-Bandits"

Basically the Z's stay in Biggs' shadow woth Cracken passing out orders and the A's setup on the flank or within the formation as blockers.

My best guess would be

3 Bandits Z-95

2 Prototype Awings with Chaardan

Etahn A'bat Ewing with R2 and Adrenaline Rush

Before you say that is a terrible lack of upgrades on Etahn and he is vulnerable you;d be right. but with the ability to go 5 forward then white k turn past most enemies You should be okay. he's there to make every hit that gets through count.

The other build I'd be tempted to is

3 Bwings with Fire Control (72 points)

2 Bandits (24)

and either upgrade to 2 talas and one Dagger, or bump two of them to dagger. The goal here is to use the Z-95s to bump the enemy and use the free target locks for the bwings to hammer things flat.

Nera Daniels is the other option for the last few points but sans ordinance she is kind of shaky.

Rebel Swarm (99/100)

====================

Z-95: Bandit Squadron Pilot (12 + 0)

Z-95: Bandit Squadron Pilot (12 + 0)

Z-95: Bandit Squadron Pilot (12 + 0)

E-Wing: Etahn A'Baht (32 + 1)

+ Veteran Instincts (1)

A-Wing: Prototype Pilot (17 + -2)

+ Chardaan Refit (-2)

A-Wing: Prototype Pilot (17 + -2)

+ Chardaan Refit (-2)

I've run 3 Rookies + 3 Bandits with great success.

Completely naked list but I've had some success with it:

Etahn

The basic play is to pick a spot on the mat where you feel comfortable, then deploy such that you can get the B-wings to it and short-move/BR them for as long as possible, with Etahn doing the same behind them. The Bandits are your skirmishers, ideally they should be set up for K-turns as soon as you can draw any enemy ships into the trap.

Etahn is the key here, he sits as far back as you can get him, even if that means he only ever gets r3 shots. If you can swing it, keep him behind an asteroid with the B-wings hovering beside it. Ideally you should have 3-5 ships with arc on any one ship in Etahn's arc, which means you're getting crits through at an astonishing rate. The three games I played with this setup each had a turn where two enemies died from full health.

come to mind.

ZZZZZE (ptl, adv sensors, push the limit, r2)

Alternatively bump the E up to Etahn with R2-D2+SensJam, dishes out quite a lot of hurt.

6 bandits

1 ORS

that smuggler blocking can be absolutely brutal

Lol yeah i meant Etahn in that build, i should had clarified ;)

Add to that ORS a tactical jammer, and you may have something really funky to play with imho.

Swarm with a difference:

2 Ys (ICT)

2 Prototypes (CR)

2 Bandits

Played this with success. The Ys are the primary targets so you fly them cautiously but not too cautiously to get some nice ionised ships that your mobile As can charge around hitting at Range one. The Zs worked well together, giving a middle to the fleet, and survive longer than they should because nobody wants to shoot at them. You'll need to get another Y ;)

BXXZZZ FTW!

a list of BBBBZ made it to top 32 at world's. One I really like is BBXZY with ion turret. It has an answer for everything.

BXXZZZ FTW!

This is my go-to Rebel swarm list, although a friend has told me to try 2 Daggers and 4 Talas for a higher PS swarm that still flies somewhat similar to that one.

Not a bad idea, but spending points for middling pilot skill isn't really worth it this meta, IMO. I'd rather buy a named pilot if I were to spend more points, otherwise I'd say it's best to have another ship with 3 attack.
