This list is built around 2 ships that can act alone if needed and bring survivability with a precision strike capability.

The VT-49 is designed for the long game with as much survivability built in as well as killing power. Engine Upgrade is a money upgrade here, as is Dauntless for keeping actions no matter what.

Soontir is a ship quite capable of acting alone, but also of getting back in close to the VT if needed. Enhanced as he is with Hull and Shield upgrades, he too is a menace in the end game.
