Hi, quick question. Roark Garnet's rule says he can pass PS 12 onto other ships within range 3 at the start of the combat phase, can he pass this onto himself?

"...choose 1 other friendly ship..."

Roark can't boost himself.

If you want Roark at level 12, make sure that he passes that to a friendly ship with Swarm Tactics or Decoy.
